Congratulations Robotics:(photos coming soon)
The robotics team competed this past weekend at Auburn in the South's BEST Championships and won several awards including 1st place game and 2nd place BEST award. Our team won more awards than any other team. This competition brought in the top 50 teams from the Eastern United States and Central Magnet beat them all and came out on top.
The awards we won are:
1st place Robotics Game - we finished 75 points ahead of 2nd place
2nd place BEST Award - a compilation of all areas - notebook, presentation, booth, spirit, and robot performance
1st place Engineering Notebook
1st place Booth Design and Construction 1st place T-shirt design
2nd place Marketing Presentation
2nd place CAD Notebook
Top Gun Award for most points in a single round
We stayed in first place through every round in the competition.

Final exam exemptions
Eligibility for exam exemptions begins the first day of school in each class and is determined on an individual class basis. ***Does not apply to end of course test.***
Guidelines For Final Exam Exemptions
Full Year Class One Semester Class/ **2nd Semester Only
8 absences A average **4 absences A average
6 absences B average **3 absences B average
4 absences C average **2 absences C average
2 absences D average **1 absence D average
Any student with four years perfect attendance will receive a plaque in recognition of this achievement.

Anyone trying out for a sport:
Make sure that the student athlete has the following before they tryout:
1. Current Physical
2. Consent for Treatment Form
3. Insurance Form and it should be notarized. You will be able to find the forms here |
